Cast on for small to compensate for gauge and I want a sweater that is more fitted and not boxy.

Sleeves only had 90 sts, so 80 after setting aside underarm. St count 396.

Lots of shaping mods:

1. Shaping body- Worked more rows in between inc and dec to lengthen waist. Worked inc into the first chart by working the repeats at the side seams with missing sts and adding to the chart as I increased.
2. Shaping yoke & decreasing yoke depth- To achieve more shoulder shaping I worked first border pattern in Chart C then dec 12 sts before tree motif. St count 384. Worked tree. Dec 24 sts --360 remain. Replaced “X” from chart C with snowflake from Chart D to achieve 5 inches in yoke length. Dec round k2 k2tog. St count 270. Work “X” from chart C. Dec using sl1, K1 psso, K1. Sts count 180. Worked diamond from chart E. Two rows of CC. K2tog, k1 dec. Two rows of MC. Ribbing.
