Notes

  • Video Tutorial

  • Used the 3 needle bind-off to join the two tail sections. Knit each tail section with the same number of rows. This gives you the correct number of stitches to pick up the next section.

  • Added two extra rows to the neck.

  • Used Swish Honey for the beak with Size 6 DPNs.

  • For the beak after there were 5 stitches I purled back and then K 1, slip one, K2 tog, PSSO, K 1; pull through the 3 remaining stitches and then did the seaming.

  • Block all the pieces after knitting and before any sewing.

  • Created an inner “beanbag” with nylon sock and Poly-Fil Poly-Pellets

  • Helpful Seaming Video

  • Source for Safety Eyes

  • Decided to set a goal of 24 Emotional Support Chickens in 2024. (24in24esc) This is ESC #24
