Notes

  • Using two skeins of Ito, switching X and Y every 20 rows.

  • Having learned from my prior Ito Nightshifts, this yarn varies greatly between thick and thin such that it is a very heavy worsted. This works best for me on Size 10 1/2 needles. My first Ito project was on Size 10 and I knew I could easily do well going up a size.

  • Just shy of 8 Full Pattern Repeats. 6 rows short of the complete 8th repeat. Wasn’t sure I would have enough yarn for 2 more rows before bind-off, since I need to be back on the right side.

  • Bind-off with 169 stitches. Started bind-off with 27 grams remaining.

  • Bind-off using a DPN.

  • Bind-off used 11 grams (24 yds)

  • 6 grams remain of Color 54

  • 10 gram remains of Color 48

  • Plan to knit at least one shawl per month in 2024 (12in24) This is shawl #6
