I made the candles with 4ply to make a better size.
As another raveler said, I used Sirdar snowflake for the squidgy cream inside the cake - yummy! Plastic canvas inside gave the slice of cake some shape and kept the edges smooth.
Update - Nina loves her 89th birthday cake - zero calories and lasts all year. After all, what else can you get for an 89 year old lady who has everything already? This is the ultimate solution!
