I adjusted this pattern to fit the Eat Sleep Knit Cast-On Queen Badge. It starts on the long edge with a 444-stich cast-on. Yikes! The Elizabeth Bennet yarn lends itself well with the lovely drape. The short-rows with the texture pattern kept it interesting!

The name, Graddfa Ddraig, means “dragon scale” in Welsh. The texture in the short row section reminded me of dragon skin, and Wales is the land of “Here Be Dragons.”
