I made this sweater in the 1980’s and liked it a lot. Dug it out recently and while it fit, it was a bit snug. I had a couple of skeins of Reynold Lopi in my stash so I decided to order more yarn so I could make it again.

December 27, 2020

Finished the first sleeve. Getting a gauge of 14 stitches = 4”. I will adjust my stitch count with that gauge when I cast on for the body. I’m liking the fit and the color combination.

January 1, 2021

Second sleeve nearly completed. Cast on the body portion.

Pattern adjustment: cast on 164 sts for the ribbing then increased 16sts for a total of 180 sts.
