This was an attempt to use stash project. It uses a Fisherman’s Rib Pattern stitch that I like and looks more complicated than it is.

The wrong side looks as good as the right side, so I am making it reversible. I enclosed the selvage when I made the button band, so it can be reversible.

All the pieces are knit. It is in the making up stage. The part I hate most about making sweaters.

The pieces to this sweater have been done and ready for finishing forever! I’m hoping the Ravelenic Games will encourage me to finally finish it up. Now I just have to find all of the pieces.

07/31/2012: This was hibernating since 11/21/2008. I found all the pieces and it’s pretty far along, but weaving seams has always been what I hated doing. The shoulder seams are done and the button band has been knit. The right sleeve is almost done seaming to the shoulder. Need to attach the left sleeve, then seam the sides and sleeves.

7/30/2014: Finally finished this! I was going to enter it in the Erie County Fair in 2013, but never got around to finishing it. This year I was determined to do it. This past week there was no knitting in the evening, just seaming and weaving. Finished it Wednesday night, gave it a quick bath in the sink then laid it out to dry with the fan blowing on it. Thursday after work I finished the buttons and brought it to the Fair.
