First part of san diego comic con costume I’m making for this year.

MUCH better size. Ended up tracing the toy version and prop version in illustrator and printing at 300%. This gave me a template to work from. (always make the handle first!)

Pattern for Blade:
Fhdc until it’s long enough.
Sc around, 2sc x 6 around top
Sc around (no increase)
Sc white up until Inc section, cut.
Sc green up until end of white, the 2hdc,hdc x 6, hdc around
Hdc around, 2hdc, hdc, hdc around top

To finish handle:
Slip stitch around handle. Treb crochet 9 times to make black fan in center.

Shoto (smaller/yellow one):
smaller handle, circle was slightly smaller but rest of it was similar.
