Very quick and easy pattern knit in the round with one-row button holes. I used a checkerboard knit/purl pattern. I then used large glass marbles and rubber bands in the center of each square to create a tie-dyed effect. The whole thing was then acid-dyed in a vat. All the rubber bands/marbles were removed and the piece was felted.

These would work great with simple bamboo handles. I also plan to line them with wild fabrics.
