HEEL Setup:
Move last stitch (purl) to first needle. It becomes stitch one--31 stitches on instep.
Begin increasing for Fleegle heel. Increase to 58 (maybe 56)--however many stitches on sole after working third round of pattern on instep.

HEEL: Begin heel shortrows on row four of pattern. Shortrow until 43 left on sole (stitch total = 74)
42 on sock 2

While working in pattern, decrease sole to 36 (37 sock 2).
stitch total = 67

TOE Setup: On last row of 17th pattern repeat, work instep in pattern and decrease 2 on sole. Continue first and last stitch of instep in purl until kitchenering toe.

Knit one round even.
Decrease 2 on sole.
Knit one round even.

TOE:
Decrease 4, every other round until 21 instep/22 sole.
Knit two rounds even.
Next decrease round, decrease 3 on sole (k2tog in center).
Instep and sole stitch counts now match. Total = 38
Knit one round even.
Decrease round, total = 34/30
Kitchener toe.
