This was my first project using double pointed needles! It was a bit awkward in parts but well worth being patient as I absolutely love my Poppy! (I hope my mum will love her as much as me!)

The modifications I made to this pattern was for the straps of the dress - instead of casting on a length of stitches then shortly casting them off, I just cast on 2 stitches and knitted in garter stitch for enough rows to make the straps (sorry I can’t remember how many rows I did).

Also, to enable Poppy to sit down, I did a running stitch along the top of Poppy’s legs (see pic).

Really easy pattern to follow and well written.
