After working for 41 years in education, I finally fulfilled my lifelong dream of opening my own yarn shop, Hooked on Ewe, in Fort Myers. Over the years, Hooked on Ewe has become more of a gathering place for like-minded people than just a yarn shop. Tragically almost six years to the day of opening, Hurricane Ian has devastated the shop, and while we are grateful that everyone is safe, we have a long road ahead to rebuild.
