April 25, 2024 marks the 3rd anniversary of TLE under our leadership.
This year we have pivoted the business again - if you are new to the yarn world you will hear this refrain over and over. The cost of doing business, both financially and mentally in particular for small and specialty businesses is taking its toll on shop owners globally. Instead of running ourselves into the ground we are shifting to online only with stockists of our hand dyed yarns. Our first stockist in Tasmania is The Weaver’s Cottages Studio & Gallery located at 104 High Street in Oatlands. Kat maintains a small but carefully curated selection of our hand dyed yarns, plus other fibre related treats. Please check out her shop when you are in Tasmania.
We specialise in our own hand dyed yarns and fibre with an emphasis on single source yarns from Tasmania. We are growing our selection of ‘low mile’ wool and yarns, with hand dyed yarn from Tasmania, Australia and New Zealand.
