The Yarn Asylum is one-room inside Mill Spring Makers Market. The shop is open for self-service all the listed hours, and I am just 2 blocks away….. My phone number is posted at the shop doorway, so if you need yarn wound into cakes, have questions, need help with a project, or just want to chat about yarn, PLEASE call me. I’m usually there within 2 minutes of a phone call.

I don’t sell online, but am happy to mail out phone orders paid through paypal, especially during the Corona Virus social distancing needs.

I do have “clinic” hours, most afternoons, when I am there and you don’t have to call…. and of course, when there is a class or lesson going on, I’m there to help other customers, as well.

Classes and lessons offered in all levels of crochet, basic through intermediate knitting skills, tapestry style weaving, cross stitch, and basic needlefelting. I stock a variety of basic tools and notions, and some beautiful locally produced yarns and spinning fibers, as well as Peace Fleece, Kraemer Yarns, Brown Sheep Yarns, Universal Yarns, and Bartlett Yarn.
