This is the place where fantastic yarn and community come together.
We offer to you the best yarn we can find, and stock everything from luxury hand-dyes and natural fibers, to nice, inexpensive and washable baby yarn.
We love to teach, and our desire is to help make you a better, more confident maker through classes and workshops.
We believe strongly in community, and invite you to sit at our table and work on your knitting or crocheting, meet other makers, and participate in one of our community projects.
The Yarn Maven is a bright and friendly shop located in a charming 200-year-old storefront in the historic district of Smyrna, Delaware. Within two blocks of our shop are several gift and home decor shops as well as great places to eat and enjoy an adult beverage. Parking is free, both on the street and in municipal lots close to the shop. Visit us soon!
