Knitting: Pullover
Chomp is worked bottom-up in one piece. The lapel pocket is adorned with a picot ’teeth’ and button eyes so that anything put in the pocket gets “bitten”. Cables run up the sleeve to add a nice detail and the look of scales to your little monster.
Knitting: Cardigan
Wes is worked bottom-up with a stranded colorwork arrow motif on the yolk. A peak-a-boo pockets add splash of color.
Knitting: Pullover
Monster is worked from the bottom-up with a cute pocket detail. The sweater is worked seamlessly by working intarsia in the round. The shawl collar is knit on, making the sweater easy to pull over big noggins.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat was designed as a companion to Eugenia’s Mitts, designed by Mollie Woodworth. You can get the free pattern for the mittens at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/eugenias-mittens. Mollie is molliebatmit on Ravelry.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Why this pattern is great:
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is the perfect fit for when it is just starting to get cold or for your favorite winter runner.
Knitting: Cowl
Continental Divide is a pattern commemorating my move as a lifelong Midwesterner across the Rockies to settle in Seattle.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This pattern is worked from the center outward, which makes it very flexible to yarn and gauge substitutions. Just bind-off when the blanket is the size you desire.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern is a scarf/stole inspired by the Mountains of Wyoming, where the fella proposed to me.
Knitting: Booties
By varying the color of novelty yarn, you can create different results. Green for a monster, or blue if they love cookies. Bear paws can be accomplished with brown, or try white for a polar bear. Whatever color fits your little monster, these booties will be adorable.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are knit toe up with a short row heel using the magic loop method. They are a very fast knit. The pattern includes charted and written instructions.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are a quick toe-up knit with a simple cable pattern on the front of the foot. The easily memorized pattern makes these socks transportable and good for less experienced knitters. The ribbing also makes them forgiving for leg and foot width.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks are knit top down with a heel flap. The cable is reversible, resulting in fast, attractive sock that can be worn inside or out.
Knitting: Cleaning - Other
Here’s my version of the ubiquitous Swiffer Sweeper cover. It’s wonderfully re-usable, so you don’t have to buy tons of those pads that can only clean half a room.
