This was designed to be an easy and relaxing project, especially good for summer travel. The fabric is lightweight and airy, yet provides warmth on chilly summer evenings. It uses a two color star stitch pattern the whole way through, creating an interesting lace texture. The sample used three colors that effortlessly blend into each other.

Sweet Tarts is a two-sided cowl made with two different tuck stitches. Both sides are equally interesting, so whichever is your favorite is the “right side” but being a cowl, it is easy to wear with both sides showing.

This shawl uses vertical columns of garter stitch and multi-colored slip stitches to create a rich texture with endless color possibilities. The two-toned slip stitch texture works best with a solid or semi-solid color combined with a speckled or variegated yarn.
