This shawl begins with a variation on a garter tab cast-on, then the Body of the shawl is formed by increasing 6 sts on every right-side row. The wide lace edging is worked sideways, attaching to the shawl Body as you go. The lace pattern for the Body is presented in chart form only. You may work the edging from text or chart.

Kearsarge is a zippered cardigan knit in one piece to the armholes, then separated for back & fronts with sleeve knit separately and set in. The hems and collar are bordered with a simple cable and eyelet pattern, which continues up the front edges and the center of each sleeve.

This raglan pullover features a funnel neck, long sleeves with pointed cuffs, and an intricately cabled lace panel at center front and back and down each sleeve.

Sweater is knit in the round from the hem to the underarm, then split at the armholes. Sleeves are knit in the round up to the sleeve cap, then back and forth from that point. Collar is worked separately in the round, then sewn in place.

The pattern is written in two sizes, and a floppy and a regular version – so, four possibilities total (small/regular, small/floppy, large/regular and large/floppy). The hat is made by knitting the cable band lengthwise, then picking up stitches and knitting the hat body in the round.
