Crochet: Stitch pattern
After searching everywhere for this pattern my grandmother used to make and not finding written instructions, I decided to write the pattern instructions myself. I thought this variation of the block stitch was well known, and I don’t claim that I invented it. I just wrote it down so everyone can enjoy it.
Crochet: Scarf
This is a very easy pattern for a textured scarf with optional chunky fringe. Gauge does not matter, and you can vary the size by adding or subtracting rows or stitches.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This is a youth size hat, but can be easily adjusted by changing hook size. I didn’t come up with the flowers in a row pattern which is available for free in many places. I thought it would make a nice cuffed hat.
Crochet: Scarf
This is a very easy pattern for a hooded scarf. With bulky yarn, it can easily be finished in a few days.
Crochet: Animal Toy
This is a simple pattern for a baby dragon.
Crochet: Throw
This is a nicely textured afghan. It’s great for using up leftover yarn since you can change colors as often as desired.
Crochet: Afghan block
I am not claiming credit for the Bavarian stitch which is well known and can be found in many places. This is one of my variations.
Crochet: Afghan block
I am not claiming credit for the Bavarian stitch. This is a variation which I haven’t come across before.
