The design of this stole is a representation of a maze design found on the Nigg Stone, a Pictish cross-slab in Easter Ross, Scotland.

Pattern includes instructions for two sizes of headband, and two sizes of antlers.

This is a rectangular shawl in two sizes, each comprising a central eyelet lace motif bordered by a variation of the Shetland Print o’ the Wave pattern, with decorative option of nupps or beads.

By way of a brief explanation - Bok is a gargoyle/demon in a classic Doctor Who story called ‘The Daemons’. My partner, mere weeks after we first met, asked me if it would be possible to knit a ‘bokaclava’, complete with sticky out tongue.
