Knitting: Bag - Other
A Project in Sheep’s Clothing is a detailed pattern with clear explanations and links to videos for the techniques used in the pattern.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I designed these fingerless mitts while on an Irish Knitting Tour travelling through the Connemara region of Ireland. We learned the right twist used in these mitts in one of the knitting seminars during our trip.
Crochet: Poncho
Crocheted from the top down, this poncho is easy to customize
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Wrap yourself in warmth and cloud-like softness! This shawl is gently rounded at the bottom and has a curved neckline curve so that it hugs your shoulders and won’t fall off.
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
A fun, small purse great for carrying everyday or for downsizing to go out on the town or on vacation.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
You don’t have to be a goat herder to enjoy these warm mitts! Cabling on the back of the hand adds interest to an otherwise utilitarian accessory. The palms are done in stockinette stitch for a smooth grip. Two ribbed stitches in each pattern repeat offer a snug and comfortable fit for a variety of hand sizes.
Knitting: Scarf
This beautiful scarf matches the Goat Whisperer’s Cabled Fingerless Gloves.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
I was inspired to make these mitts while on a knitting tour of Ireland. It was cold and I forgot to pack a hat, so I purchased some Irish yarn and crocheted a hat that used the front post double crochet stitch. I chose a crochet pattern rather than a knit pattern - even though I was on a knitting tour - because I wanted something I could finish...
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The little ruffle adds a bit of femininity and keeps the wind from going up your coat sleeve. The ribbing makes this glove form fitting and comfortable for a wide range of hand sizes. Adjust the length of the glove to your liking by adding or subtracting rows from the wrist and/or palm.
Knitting: Convertible Gloves
Wether you need mittens for warmth, fingerless mitts for working, or your thumbs free for texting, these versatile mitts will do the job!
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
The Vintage Crochet Change Purse is a fun little purse done mostly in single crochet.
Knitting: Earwarmers
This headband is a fantastic introduction to brioche knitting. It’s a quick project that can be done with leftover yarn.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf can be knit with worsted weight or bulky yarn. It is an especially quick knit with bulky yarn. The 3x3 rib on each end adds a hint of flare to the richly textured seed stitch body. Slipping the first stitch of each row gives it a nice edge and prevents it from stretching out of shape.
