This simple lace shawl is designed to be created using a sock set with 100g of one color and 20g of a coordinating color. It was originally designed for a mermaid themed monthly Sock Crate from Southern Skeins. I always love sock sets but I don’t love knitting socks, so why not a shawl, because, after all… mermaids don’t wear socks!

The April Tank Top has a racer back with a high neckline. It is fitted at the bust and loose and flowy to the hips. There is lace on the back panel and the bottom hem. It is knit in one piece, mostly in the round, and has many little details that make this simple tank top just a little bit fancy!
