Linen Stitch gives the knitter the ability to weave a fabric perfect for accessories that will not require a lining. Although this bag could have been knit in the round, working it flat then sewing the side seams gives a stable finished product.

This pattern was designed for The Canadian Crazy Train sock caper and was exclusive to participants until its conclusion.

The garment, as seen on page 34 of the November 2014-January 2015 issue of Cast On magazine, uses 1 skein of “Baltimore Oriole” Dragon sock yarn, and 1 skein of “Steel Magnolias” Djinni sock yarn. It was an online extra for TKGA members. Pattern directions are not in the issue.
