This is an adaptation of Short-Wave Mitts by Sybil R. I used her original design and modified the instructions to include 3 techniques - Wrap&Turn, Japanese and German short row methods. It has been knit by retreat participants but has not been tech edited.

Pattern for garter stitch slippers that are felted after being sewn up adapted from several others in Ravelry:8-square socks and Felted Slippers. My contribution is combining the Finnish diagrams with English instructions and creating a chart to allow for any size foot from toddler to adult and any gauge yarn from sport to chunky.

A simple garter stitch capelet knit from the neck down to use EVERY INCH of a glorious skein of worsted/heavy DK yarn held together with Kidsilk haze to give it a soft halo.
