To change the hat size, just change your crochet hook size. The gauge provided is for hook size 5.5/ I , which is for a large size hat. If you want a XL then go up to a 6.5. This pattern requires 2 different colors of cotton yarn. Less than 1 skein for each color. you will also need a yarn needle and scissors. You will use the yarn needle to attach the flower to the dishtowel. The flower will act as a button for the hanging towel. There are 3 main sections to the hanging towel.
