I was playing around with a repetitive design to make a shawl This is what I came up with. It has a border and is edged with teardrop beads. A Simple yet elegant shawl. I did this one in size 5 thread but the design lends itself to be made with any size yarn or thread and can be made any size desired. One of my goals with this design.

I designed this little bookmarker to go with a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She is getting some of the Warrior books, So what better bookmarker than a cat. I did hers in grey as that is the color of her cat. This one works up quickly and can be done in almost any size thread.

I challenged myself to create some pineapple doilies. This is my favorite one of the six I challenged myself to make. I like how the 2 colors work together in the design. The Irish roses and Pineapples in one design, What more can you ask for.

This Dragon wall hanging done in filet I have been intending to complete for awhile. Finally I couldn’t wait and he came to life. My grandson will be recieving the original piece. It is my hope that this Dragon will guard and protect him since he is so far away from me. At the very least, watch over him with Love.

A Filet Stole so you can wrap yourself up in an elegance. Done in size 10 thread. I used a rayon thread but any size 10 thread will work. It measures 17 1/2 inches wide ( 44.45 cm ) by 76 inches ( 193.04 cm ) long, not including the fringe. I did use a lurex thread mixed into the fringe to give it some pizazz.

This pattern is for my fingerless mitts a cross between a fingerless glove and a fingerless mitten. The index and little finger have individual slots, but the middle and ring finger don’t. They are extremely comfortable this way. They are done with size 80/tatting thread using a size 12/1.00mm hook.

A Shrug and Skirt ensemble done in thread. This ensemble is done in size 10 thread in sizes Small to Extra Large. The skirt features an elastic waistband that is not too bulky for comfort and fit. It has an ribbon strung through the lattice panels to give it a touch of color.

This is one of the first purse design I did. I did the original one on an antique frame, but reworked the design to fit a comtempory frame so I could make the pattern available to others.

I designed this little tissue tote as a gift for my riding students. I liked to have a little something for them at Christmas time. This was a great project as it works up quickly and is cute as well as practical. It was always well received.

My hair is so fine it doesn’t hold most bun covers and such. But with Summer upon us I really needed something to get some of my hair off my neck. This is my solution. I added a strand of sewing thread to the design to give it added interest. This is comfortable to wear.
