Crochet: Containers
This is a fun basket, that is a great decoration for Halloween. It is useful too since it is a basket. I use it to put silverware in when I have guests for buffet. I also put candy in it for trick or treaters. Many uses. It can be made bigger by increasing the bottom part before doing the sides.
Crochet: Shrug / Bolero
I named this pattern after my Mother Betty Lou. It reminds me of sweaters from the 50’s. I love the 3/4 length sleeves on this pattern. If you want longer sleeves just continue until you get the length you want before adding the ribbing.

Since my hands get cold when I am eating ice cream, I designed this cozy to use. This pattern uses cotton yarn. It is a cozy for ice cream. It fits on a pint size container.

What a great pattern for summer time. This one size table runner is perfect for a dining room or on a stand. This pattern uses 1 skein each of 3 different colors. Each skein has 190 yards. I used white, teal and sea glass.

This pattern is great for using up scrap yarn. It makes a great gift for parties, dinners, get togethers etc. It is a quick pattern. It took me an hour to make. This can be used with any bottle. It doesn’t have to be a wine bottle. Enjoy.

These are finger puppets. The gauge is not important. You can use scrap yarn to make these. They are fun to use with stories or just to entertain little ones. As they get older kids will play with these on their own. Great to make for craft fairs.

This pattern has a stitch called Iron Works Stitch. It is a fun stitch that looks like a heart when made. I used a size 2 cotton acrylic mix yarn. It is all in one piece unless you add the belt. The belt is made separately.

This is a cute toy dog to snuggle with. You may use whatever colors you choose to make it. There are two choices for the paws (contrast color or spots) and for the tail. It is a quick easy project. The head is part of the body with the snout sewed on. This helps keep from having a wobbly neck.

This can be made any color you choose. It is a quick pattern, but there is some sewing to attach things. The head is made as part of the body so it is more steady than some patterns. You can use safety eyes, googly eyes or make your own eyes. Many choices. You will need around 200 yards of each color for the pattern.

This is a fun pattern. Kids love finger puppets. It includes 4 puppet patterns and the bag pattern. These patterns were made with thinner weight size 4 yarn such as, basic and premier yarn. If you use things like One pound they will come out a little bigger. Adjust the amount of rounds so it fits on your hand where you want it to fit.

This can be made with scrap yarn. This pattern is included in the finger puppet sets, but if you want to make just the bag I am posting it separately too. This bag can be used to carry any small things.

This is a fun mitten you can add to it by putting a face on it or doing different colors. They are simple and easy. Do in HDC and Front and Back post stitch. You can also make this into fingerless gloves by not closing it off.

You can use any yarn you want for this pattern. Make it bigger by adding more rounds. Just for fun. Add eyes if you want.

I am not sure how much yarn I used, but when I made the same pattern with another bulkier yarn it took 80 yards.

This is a very easy pattern. It works up quickly and looks great. It can dress up a dress or dress down with jeans.

This is a very comfortable hoodie pullover. It is easy to make. Mostly uses DC. It can be adapted to fit most sizes. I used 4 skeins of Mandala so I could match the sleeves and front. I had a skein left when I was done. I used 8 skeins of the Everyday yarn. I think you will love this pullover.

This pattern uses a stitch I call the Debby stitch. It is just doing a DC into the base of the previous row.
