Knitting: Beret, Tam
As I was recently working on a Ballett production of “Dracula”, I came up with this gothic architectural inspired hat. The slouch features mock cables and twisted stitches, crossing no more than one stitch at a time – and you don’t need a cable needle for that. The main body is really simple – only the last 20 rows get a little tricksy.

This slouch features a rolled brim and an easy to follow lace pattern with more stitches than holes. It combines the warmth of a woollen hat with enough air circulation to let your scalp breathe.
