This pattern comes in one size only (that may change…)
Crochet: Doily
This will take less than one standard ball of #10 crochet cotton, such as Aunt Lydia’s, Crochet Royale, etc. for the cord. You can use various sizes of threads (suggested threads are #30 crochet cotton and #80 tatting cotton, but you can use other sizes as you choose). The amount you will need will vary with the choices you make.

This little chart is one I made in response to this Ravelry thread. The original poster had seen a beautiful stranded Norwegian sweater and wanted the name of the pattern. No one had a name, but I was able to come up with a chart for the pattern, which features a stylized tesselated fish.
