This is a bulky poncho that you also can use as a cowl when it’s cold outside. When you come inside you just pull it down over your shoulder and you have a warming poncho.

Gauge is not crucial for this design. You knit the edge first and make it as long as you want or follow my directions. After that you pick up stitches and shape the shawl with german short rows.

You knit this hat from your head measurement and you don’t need to swatch. Brim is knit from side to side and then you pick up stitches and knit body.

I’ve found out that dishcloths in this yarn is the best. This is a lacey cloth with garter stitch edging. Original stitch is from an old english lace.
