This doily is worked in two pieces: the main doily, which has the swirl design, and the TARDIS applique, which is sewn onto the doily. The doily and the applique patterns can be used on thier own or in conjunction with different patterns.

Crochet: Ornamental Flower
This is an easily customizable pattern. You can make the flower and stem as big or small as you want by adding more rows of making less rows than called for in the pattern.
Crochet: Washcloth / Dishcloth
This is a very easy pattern with a very simple design. As such, it should work well to show off mulitcolors and such, if desired. If you’re looking for a very simple dishcloth with nothing fancy about it, this is for you!
