BFC stands for Boyfriend Cardigan. It’s long, simple and warm. This cardigan is a perfect basic garment to match with jeans or dress, with T-shirt or Oxford shirt.

A vest is a very useful garment in a little boy’s wardrobe. While there are so many accessories to enhance little girls’ outfits, there is only a limited assortment of accessories and garments to do the same for boys. Inspired by the cabled vests worn by my father, the Sanni vest will add style to the ordinary trousers-shirt combination.

I just love bulky hats. I think they are so stylish, yet easy and quick to knit. All you need is a few hours and you’re done. And the super-bulky yarn brings out the beauty of a simple garter stitch.

This feminine and romantic scarflette wraps around the neck and fastens with a pretty bow. The scarflette body is crocheted first, then completed with a lace edging. The tie for the bow is crocheted separately and sewn later to the scarflette. If desired, satin ribbon can be used in place of the crocheted tie.

Manti is a close fitting cabled cardigan for both, boys and girls, with a bit of vintage touch. The body of the cardigan is worked seamlessly from the bottom up and sleeves in the round until underarms, and then joined at yoke. Both collared and hooded version are given.

Every time I see these super bulky yarns in yarn store I find myself wondering - what on earth people knit from them? And then I fell in love with this yarn and to find an excuse for buying it I had to imagine an object what to knit from it. So I thought that a hat would be perfect from it. And it is. Slouchy and casual. And warm.

These cuff-down socks are really simple and easy to knit. The star in this pattern is Noro Kureyon Sock yarn, the pattern has only the supporting role :)
