Named after the word for flight in Welsh, Ehediad is a simple lace cowl, worked in the round. The cowl begins with a deep border of twisted rib, which transitions into lace chevrons and then into a series of patterns inspired by birds in flight.

This is a lovely simple rectangular lace stole, perfect if you are starting lace knitting as there is no shaping.

This pattern is named for Dulcie Gray, and actress whose career spans the 20th century. Her name sums this cardigan up perfectly. Not just because of the word grey, but also because she has had a long career, and I hope this cardigan will have a long career in your wardrobe.
