A remarkably fast, easy project made with two colors of super-bulky yarn, I envisioned flames and sparks ascending into the night sky as I created Drogon. He rests on your shoulders in a very comfy, cozy way, but the hood is long enough to protect you, if you need it.

Inspired by the dragon from one of my all time favorite books, The Girl Who Drank the Moon, Fyrian is a funny, sweet, perfectly tiny dragon (with a terrible singing voice). No matter his size, he saves the day just in time.

About the Pattern:

Helene is a simple cowl that I designed to knit up quickly for Hurricane Helene donations. The pattern had three specific purposes:

Heart Catcher is a fast pattern knit in the round, from the knuckles to the wrist with a lace heart(charted), a thumbhole, and tacked stitches for the cuff. It was designed to knit very quickly as a stash buster.

Super fun and easy to knit, this shawl flew by! A very simple design of decreases on one side, and double increases on the other, and some lattice work.

Testura is the word “Texture” in the Basque language.
