Knitting: Fashion Doll (Barbie, etc)
This is a little raglan cardigan I made for my daughters Lottie dolls. Lottie and Finn are age appropriate dolls designed to empower kids to be themselves and we are great fans in our house (but in no way affiliated with Lottie).
Knitting: Pullover
This is a sweater designed with the beautiful plant-dyed Scottish lambswool (approx. 710 yards / 650m per 3.53 ounces / 100g) from the ladies at g-uld.dk. You can find other natural dyed yarn on Ravelry or try to dye your own. You can of course use commercially dyed yarn too.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top, Underwear
Brrrrrr it’s cold outside and just the weather for layering up. My gran always told me to wear a singlet under my clothes and that of course extends to my 2 year old daughter Bess, too. So here it is. I have chosen to make this in a wool/silk blend because I feel this gives a truly warm garment that feels lovely to wear, also when it get’s warm...
Knitting: Balaclava
Balaclavas are quite popular in Denmark because of the cold weather. We call them “elefanthuer”, so elephant hats. This one is made for child and adult sizes, because everyone need something to keep their head warm this winter.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
From the dark mines of the North I bring you this versatile rectangular shawl worked from one end to the next with buttons and buttonholes to fasten it down the front, around the back or the neck. The stitch is one that was used in a baby-blanket knit for my husband by his Grandmother, Doreen, from the coal-mining community of Wigan, Lancashire...
Knitting: Scarf
The idea with this scarf was to teach my sister to knit and to motivate her to enjoy knitting. I have personally gotten so much pleasure out of knitting and I wished to share this experience with my dearest little sister and all other new knitters out there. The word pedagogy comes from the Ancient Greek word παιδαγωγέω (paidagōgeō) and can be ...
Knitting: Stocking
In Scandinavia there is a mythical creature called a nisse or a tomte. A nisse is an elf-like smaller person with a red woolen cap which in Denmark is usually a pointy hat. Christmas is coming up and I wanted to make one of these hats for my daughter and the rest of the family.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
These socks have been designed using the Super Sock Calculator for kids sizes 6-12 months, 1-3 years, 3-5 years, 5-7 years, 7-9 years and are decorated with a simple lace pattern. They are knit toe-up on circular needles and I encourage you to try and knit them two at a time using my videos to guide you. The heel is turned with short-rows.
Knitting: Cardigan
This is a new version of the original free Dirghagama baby cardigan, size 6 months in Bulky yarn, which was made as a baby shower present for a lovely couple who study the Dīrgha Āgama. Dīrgha Āgama means ‘a long (dīrgha) discourse of Buddha (āgama)’ in Sanskrit and is a collection of 48 sūtras, or rather records of the oral teachings of the Bu...

Knitting: Cardigan
I wanted to make a cardigan that would be the perfect baby shower gift to give to anyone expecting a little girl. Originally made for the baby of a lovely lady, who studies the Dīrgha Āgama, this had to be the name of the pattern as well.
