Knitting: Pullover
The Kingfisher sweater is a simple colorwork using one row stripes and seed stitch to create an interesting color effect. Like with the dots of a newspaper picture a new color appears. I highly recommend to try different color sequences of your chosen 4 colors to find the combination you like best.
Knitting: Bonnet
When I think of babies immediatly I think of bonnets. Babies and toddlers need a warm head and warm feet. In my (maybe not so) humble opinion a lot of wool keeps children healthy. At least that worked with ours.
Knitting: Pixie Hat
This hat is designed to keep the head, ears and forehead of little ones warm. Because of its unique pixie form it stays on the head. The hat is called Campanula because it looks a bit like a bluebell.
Knitting: Cardigan
The garter stitch cardigan is a part of traditional bavarian clothing. I like all about it: it is minimalistic, easy to knit and easy to adjust to the individual proportions. Plus it is wearable with anything, anywhere, all year through.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I like big shawls. I like recipe patterns. I like it when i can use up all the yarn. These were the first ideas for this design.
Knitting: Dress
The child’s dress design “Rosa” was inspired by the folk dress of the Schaumburg-Lippe region in Germany. Here the women wear a knitted shawl wrapped around their chest above a wide skirt.
