This pattern I made for myself and I am a size 14/16.

This pattern was idea partly came from my Freddy Frog mini blankie, as I wanted to do a different animal, so I used half of the normal blanket pattern but stopped at the required number of stitches then cast off instead of decreasing as per previous blanket, so this form the 2 wings.

I was inspired to make this by looking at other lovies, comfy, blankies etc that I’ve seen.

I used double knit wool which I had in my stash. This can be made bigger by adding 10 stitches at a time to make it an inch wider and longer.

This pattern is quick and simple to make and you can alter the pattern to make various sizes.

For this pattern I used 4.5mm needles with double knit wool.

100g of DK (double knit) wool

I used material that I bought from Boyes £2.30 per meter.

I used Yarnfair double knitting wool (Beige - colour 081 & lot 47).

A nice easy pattern to make up for little girls.
