A cowl worked in the round in two-color brioche that is reversible, wonderfully snuggly and a perfect project to learn how to work two-color brioche stitch in-the round.

Double knit headband/earwarmer that fits heads 19-24” when measured around the base of the skull and forehead. The double knit fabric, especially when mohair is added, makes a cozy earwarmer. The portion at the back of the neck is narrower to make that not so bulky under the wearer’s hair and may be eliminated.

Great first cable project also utilizes a provisional cast on and grafting. There is also an option that does not use a provisional cast on and the size is more adjustable.

Worked from the cuff up starting with brioche stitch cuff, making it reminiscent of the sleeves and pantaloons popular in the Tudor era.
