Yarn weight and gauge aren’t particularly important for this shawl. You can knit it in fingering, worsted, bulky.. anything that produces a fabric you want wrapped around yourself. The garter stitch and lace is very forgiving.

This is a basic triangular shawl that makes use of a garter tab cast on, and alternating stockinette and mesh pattern sections. The shawl can be as small or large as your yardage allows.
