The ‘Horizonte’ Hat could be a good project to practice stranded color-work. It uses a simple color design. I used a 9 inch (16cm) long circular needle to knit in the round the whole project; because this is the method that I like the most, but you are free to use any technique of your preference.

This is a multi-color granny squares blanket with 144 different granny squares (9x16). I used a total of 17 different color yarns, using just 5 in each granny square, where each row was a different one. I was changing the order and combination in each of them.
