I used a size H hook with 4 ply Red Heart Super Saver yarn. If you want to use a slightly thinner yarn such as Caron Simply Soft then up your hook size to an I hook.

You can use any worsted weight yarn but I find Caron Simply soft tends to be a bit more flexible.
