This is a top down triangular shawl with a “knit on border”. I used fingering weight. You could choose lace weight for a smaller shawl or sport weight for a larger shawl. My finished piece measured 29 in from neck to point and 66 in from tip to tip after blocking. I loved doing the knit on border (a first for me).

This is a slouchy beanie so it is made longer than traditional beanies. It is an easy pattern for beginners. You need to know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl in the round. Hat is knit seamless in the round with 16 in. Circular needles and finished off with double point needles when doing the decreases.
