The Bromilliad gloves and socks were made from one 150 gm hank of yarn. There was very little left, so I would advise making them a little shorter if you are planning to make both from one skein.

I used a little more than one 50 gram ball of Knitpicks Gloss for these gloves. To be precise, they required 56 grams. You would have enough left to make some fingerless mitts with the rest of the second ball.
