Knitting: Cardigan
The Zihua (ZEE-wha) Cardigan is named for Zihuatanejo, Mexico, a fishing village near Ixtapa on Mexico’s west coast. Locals call it Zihua. I had a wonderful time there in January this year, designing and knitting this sweater under mangrove trees on the beach.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Hexagon shapes make the most of the gorgeous color runs in Noro’s Silk Garden in the Creekside shawl. A garter stitch border blends all the colors together for a finished, polished look. This is a perfect layering piece for fall, or for relaxing fireside when winter winds are howling. Silk Garden is so soft and has beautiful drape making it com...
Knitting: Vest
The Timber Run Vest was inspired by the tracks in the snow that skiers leave behind. Slalom stitch panels (aptly named!) adorn the asymmetrical front and the back of this cozy vest. This one knits up fast on size 13s with super bulky yarn: Brown Sheep’s burly spun in Wild Oak.

Knitting: Cowl
I have used slipped stitches to create 4 different cowl patterns: ‘Ribbed’, ‘Puckered’, ‘Crinkled’ and ‘Wavy’. One hank of Malabrigo Rios makes a perfect sized cowl (25 inches around by 9 inches tall). The slipped stitches really show off the beauty of this kettle dyed yarn and result in pretty and unique knitted fabrics.
Knitting: Pullover
The Spring Breeze Pullover features top-down raglan construction with body and sleeves worked in the round for minimal finishing. The easy to memorize lace pattern graces the pullover’s front, back and sleeves.
Knitting: Pullover

Diamond in the Ruff is knitted flat from the top down. The diamond panel of single crosses does not require a cable needle and the repeat is very easy to remember.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Mitts are knitted flat from the bottom up in worsted weight yarn.
Knitting: Pet Clothing
I have included specific instructions for a vest that will fit a dog with a 17.5 inch chest. Also included are easy formulas to customize the sweater to fit your pooch perfectly. This is a very simple pattern to make and a great beginner’s intarsia project. Go to www.jojoknits.com/blog for more project info.
Knitting: Pet Clothing
Romeo’s Snowball Sweater is knitted in worsted weight yarn. Size XS used very little yarn from skeins of Plymouth Yarn’s Galway Red (#44) and White (#8). One skein of each will make up the size large. Instructions are given to fit dogs with chest sizes of 13, 17, 21 and 25 inch chests.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts coordinate with my pet design “Tyler’s Cabled Vest”. They are worked flat except for the thumb gusset which is worked in the round (you will need DPNs).

Knitting: Cowl
this is a very versatile acessory! can be worn as a hat or a neckwarmer. Just untie the drawstring top of the ‘hat’ and pull down to make a neckwamer. Can also wear the neckwarmer upside down for a different look. Great for kids who don’t know what to do with their hat when they want to take it off… just slide it down!
