Owl is worked in the round using a stich marker to mark the beginning of each row. You will need one strand of chenille (or velour) yarn and one strand of worsted weight. This hat can be made with either an I or a J hook. You will get a slightly bigger hat with the J, about a half an inch in diameter.

Uses less than one skein of suggested yarn.

The aqua one is made with the Snuggly Wuggly yarn. The multi-color is Bernat baby softee.

I have recently taken measurements of this sweater and compared to baby size charts. According to my measurements this sweater is really a 6-9 month size.
