Non seulement ça peut être un filet à cheveux vintage, mais aussi un col qui peut couvrir la tête. Bref, même tricoté avec soin, un snood anglais et un snood français ne donneront jamais le même rés...

Le point commun entre Skilpad et ce châle, c’est la lenteur de sa réalisation. Comme pour les tortues, le chemin à parcourir fait aussi partie du but à atteindre.

This beanie is knitted either in a single color or in several gradient tones of the same color and yarn quality (here: Donegal Tweed Fingering held double).

Héri-Chéri is a cute little blue eyed hare with a great “default”. He talks a lot! Once you slipped your hand into his body, there is no way to stop the flood of words coming out of his mouth. But that’s okay. He is funny, gentle and kinda cute!

It takes a good dose of patience to reach the end of the many bobbles scattered across this shawl — but the pleasure of wearing it once it slips off the needles is even greater.

L’idée de Bjarney est d’utiliser des couleurs se mariant avec les pulls islandais (si vous ne possédez pas encore une de ces merveilles, je vous conseille vivement d’y remédier - très fun à tricoter, encore plus à porter!)

Gustur (flurry or gust in English) is a ribbed cowl knit in the round from top-down using german short-rows. A bit shorter at the back so that it doesn’t take to much space when closing up your jacket, longer in the front to really protect you against the cold and wider at the bottom to gently wrap your shoulders.

Some kids ask you to draw them a sheep (I cannot draw sheeps), other kids ask you to knit them a hat “with lots of colours “.

There are several words for “wind” in icelandic. The most common one is “vindur”. When talking about the blizzard, you will use the word “bylur”.

A hat for walks through the woods, during the foggy mornings or the cold winter afternoons. So cosy, so warm, one isn’t even in a hurry to get back home.

No matter what yarn you use, this shawl, when finished, will cover your shoulders when you stroll on summer evenings or will bundle you up in winter.

Imaginez un pull tricoté d’une seule pièce! Commencé par le bord d’encolure, poursuivi par des rangs raccourcis permettant à cette dernière de s’arrondir, puis, une fois le raglan terminé, achevé par des manches, longues ou 3/4, et un corps dont vous décidez de la longueur.

The shawl is worked in bias from one corner to the other. Decreases, yarn overs and short rows give it its final crescent shape.

J’ai cherché à faire un col qui donne l’impression d’être en même temps une écharpe et un foulard mais qui puisse se perdre dans le fond de mon sac sans le remplir. Un col pratique, seyant et qui n’encombre pas.
