Knitting: Hanging Ornament
These “mini” ornaments are knit using two US Size 2 circular needles, scrap fingering weight yarn, and noverty yarns. Besides Christmas decorations, they can also be used to enhance any holiday, birthday, season, or occasion. Simply, change colors, yarns and textures.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This pattern includes instructions using either fingering or fine fingering weight sock yarn. The fingering weight socks are knit on two US Size 2 circular needles. The fine fingering weight socks are knit on two US Size 1 circular needles, thus two sock patterns for the price of one.

The larger needles combined with the heavier yarn makes learning the two needle technique extremely easy. With six sizes, this pattern is an excellent choice for a first time sock knitter.

This pattern combines worsted weight yarn with roving to create windproof and waterproof mittens. It uses two US Size 4 circular (24 inch) needles and is designed for the whole family. Sizes range from child’s small to men’s average.

These easy slippers use two contrasting worsted weight yarns to achieve the checkerboard effect. They are knit on US Size 7 straight needles, and six sizes are available in both women’s and men’s.

This pattern is knit on two US Size 2 circular (24 inch) needles. The combination of ribbing mixed with the Celtic cable makes this sock fun to knit. A solid, heather or tweed yarn works best to enhance the cable.
