Inspired by 80s retro look ski hat. It has simple braided cable patterns. You can attach either a pompom or a faux fur pompom. Any worsted Superwash yarn would work. Please check the gauge before knitting.

It’s a reversible hat! I used DK yarns from Round Mountain Fibers Willow DK: one is varigated and the other one is semi-tonal. you need 2 skeins in different colorways or you can pick any colorways you like! You knit exactly the same hat twice. It’s thick, but very practical in cold winter in MinneSNOWta!
