Knitting: Vest
The Beekeeper’s Waistcoat was one of the first designs I ever released, and the very first with multiple sizes. I am still so in love with the design, but thought it could do with a bit of a freshen up and decided to re-make it in a DK weight yarn (instead of bulky) to make it a more versatile item.
Knitting: Earflap Hat
Toddlers…..do they ever keep a hat on their head?! Several years ago my best friend asked “Can you make a hat for Nina that will stay on?”
Knitting: Cowl
The Ellesmere Cowl took a while to get it’s name, I couldn’t decide what name felt “right”. After pondering for months it suddenly hit me: this cowl (and it’s original prototype) were both made while I was on holiday at Lake Ellesmere, almost three years apart!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
For this design, I was inspired by the way the sun rises on a winter morning. I saw many of these sunrises last winter when my daughter was only a few weeks old. Having a newborn snuggling into my neck as I paced in circles around my lounge, I would often gaze out of our large window at the changing sky feeling like the only person awake in the...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Seafoam Shawl is a winged triangle shawl which starts from a garter tab cast on. There are alternating sections of stockinette stitch and lace which are divided by some garter rows. It is designed to be a simple yet striking piece that optimises the most of two skeins of yarn, while allowing good stitch definition.
Knitting: Bonnet
This is the bonnet that was almost never created.
Knitting: Animal Toy
The Little Kiwi was created when a friend was travelling to the United States and wanted a kiwi to take with her, as they are the national bird of New Zealand. After being unable to find a pattern that I liked the look of I decided to make my own and created Little Kiwi.
Knitting: Dress
The second I found out I was pregnant with a little girl I started thinking about what I could knit for her when she arrived. Since she was going to arrive in Autumn I wanted a dress to reflect that and that could be layered with leggings or cardigans, but still had enough cute features to be worn on its own.

Knitting: Onesies
The New Arrival Overalls came into being due to the fact I am expecting my first baby at the end of Autumn and wanted something cute, warm and practical to dress her in. I also wanted something that worked up quickly without any tricky techniques so that it was a relaxing project that did not take too long.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is quite simply named “Winter” in Maori – one of the languages spoken in my country (New Zealand). To me, nothing says Winter like the skeletons of trees, waiting patiently in the cold weather for Spring to arrive again and clothe them in leaves.
Knitting: Animal Toy
Is it a lovey? Is it a Binky? Nope….it is a Binkylove!!
Knitting: Vest
The Slouchy Sunday Vest was one of my favourite patterns I had ever designed. Versatile, stylish, an easy layer to throw on over a dress or shirt for a bit of extra warmth. It also is an easy knit to make, using garter stitch, ribbing and seed stitch.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Available as part of a kit from The Woven.
Knitting: Pullover
Have you ever been stuck for the perfect baby shower gift? You know the one; where it is both practical for the new parent, but also brings a huge smile due to it being so very cute? Or when your good friend or family member asks for a hand-knitted treasure for their child?
Knitting: Vest
The Slouchy Sunday Vest is the perfect versatile garment for an extra layer of warmth. Whether it is worn while curled up on the couch for a Netflix binge, thrown on for the school run, or layered over a long sleeve shirt with a statement necklace for a trip to the movies, the squishy soft vest adds a touch of style. Knit in relaxing, meditativ...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Sumptuous is a blend of Polwarth Wool and Alpaca Fibre, deliciously soft with a magic puff factor that allows her to gauge across many needles and patterns, so you can have a play with anything from DK to worsted, 4mm to 7mm.
Knitting: Cowl
Minerva was the Roman goddess of crafts, wisdom, and war. This piece brings an easy to remember stitch pattern that works up quickly and is satisfying to look at. The hexagonal detailing represents the armour which Minerva was born into, with the contrasting colours bringing balance and style to this fast-knit piece.

Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
The Ngahuru Mitts were designed to match the Ngahuru Cowl (one of my previous designs). Ngahuru means Autumn or harvest time in Maori, one of the languages spoken in New Zealand.
Knitting: Cowl
Beneath the Pines is a deliciously warm and squishy cowl, perfect for the colder days.
Knitting: Vest
The Beekeeper’s waistcoat received its name from the honeycomb cables running up each side. It is knit flat on circular needles and is worked in one piece with the only seaming for the shoulders. Once the stitches are divided for the armholes, additional balls of yarn are attached so it can still be worked back and forth, rather than needing to...

Ngahuru - Autumn, the tenth month of the Māori year, harvest time.
