Gauge doesn’t really matter for this pattern. I have used chunky as this gives a nice bauble size but any yarn can be used…just use the relevant hook size (make sure to decrease like you would for any amigurumi pattern to avoid gaps)

In this pattern i have used Stylecraft tweed carnival chunky but please note this is a thinner, roving yarn in my opinion. Therefore i would say this pattern is more suited to a chunky aran or a thin chunky yarn.
